Please read - recent outage

The BHPC Committee would like to apologise for the recent outage of the website and forum. This has been due to some data security concerns and other issues within the Committee. These have now been resolved.

We would like to ask that the reasons and actions that may or may not have taken place are not discussed in open forum in a way that could be construed as inflammatory or derogatory - if you are unsure of your comment, then please could we ask you to take five minutes to think about it, and if necessary, please check the forum rules.

We apologise for the disruption caused, and look forward to seeing you at an event or two soon.

Special Discount for BHPC Members on Polar Tags

Many Club members ride on their own and the possibility of an Emergency is always present.

In case of emergency (ICE) is a program that enables first responders, such as paramedics, firefighters, and police officers, to identify victims and contact their next of kin to obtain important medical information. Originally the ICE designation was used to identify emergency numbers stored on a mobile phone, the designation is recognised by paramedics & medical personnel worldwide and is being more widely used and incorporated into a number of safety products.

Sherri Donaldson has discovered a product called PolarTags which are personal ID tags carrying the ICE designation and are designed to be mounted on your helmet, shoe or on your wrist.

BHPC Members can enter the code 'bhpv2009' to get a 10% discount on these products
