So where's the AGM???
Due to the work going on at Eastway later in the year for the Olympics, we have had to move the AGM It will be held in York at the CTC Cycle Rally (another good reason to attend an already excellent event!) where the club will be having a stand. There will be a BHPC ride out on the Saturday morning for which riders of any kind of bike will be welcome and a meal after the AGM.
Moreover:
See How We Run!
All
the events this year are points events. Unless otherwise stated,
we aim to get racing underway at 11:00, so plan on arriving a little earlier.
Even if you are not into racing, the race meetings are as much social events
as competitive ones, and people are usually more than happy to answer questions
as well as giving one the opportunity to try out all sorts of machinery.
For further details e-mail Mr. Editor Paul Lowring
or Mr. Competition Secretary gNick

Michigan HPV Rally and HPRA Racing
Weekend, Waterford, Michigan, USA Rather than an ultra-competitive event, the annual MHPVA Rally contains fun events such as a hill climb contest, a contest to see how far you can coast down a hill, how fast you can go through a timing device to measure your top speed, a practical vehicle competition, and time trials. Most importantly, the Rally is an opportunity to view a wide range of human powered vehicles as well as socialize with other hpv enthusiasts from around the midwest. Classes available for those to participate in include two wheeled bicycles, tricycles, and tandems. There area also competitive categories for women and juniors. |
