The 2008 Season so far..... Results Tables

 

  • All events will be starting on the track at 11:00am, ( yes that ,means Castle Combe as well), aside from the Worlds - more on these at the website and Salt Ayrewww.wc2008.org.uk .
  • Number boards are IMPORTANT, so fit them. You will need two of about A5 size, one facing forward not obscured by legs etc. you can tilt this back to a max of 45 degrees if you wish, and one on the left hand side.  There are other rules and inspections, mostly concerned with keeping it safe for everybody.  More information can be found here.
  • The actual event formats are open to a certain amount of change but are usually in the format of a 30-40min  points race in the morning and a 'fun' race in the afternoon. The main exceptions are Castle Combe - 2 hour race.
  • Charges - £7 for members, £10 for non-members and £0 for juniors (,16 years of age ) If you are a member and you would like to pay fir the whole season up front  (maximum possible = 10 races), it will cost you £48. Cheques payable to BHPC please at the first race of the season (20th April, Hillingdon) or as soon as possible thereafter. Note: this doesn't include any of the racing at the World Championships in August and there is no discount for missed events .
  • Help with the organization and running of the races is always appreciated so please offer.

    Susan in a TinnyAll the events this year are points events.  Unless otherwise stated, we aim to get racing underway at 11:00, so plan on arriving a little earlier. Even if you are not into racing, the race meetings are as much social events as competitive ones, and people are usually more than happy to answer questions as well as giving one the opportunity to try out all sorts of machinery.  For further details e-mail Mr. Editor Paul Lowring or Mr. Competition Secretary gNick Green
