Has nobody answered?
I'm nothing to do with the organisation but rode it last year on my Bacchetta.
It was very well organised with a leader and a sweeper with two way radios and as the rider split at there various paces we all came back together at crucial junctions and the lunch stop..
Not sure how fast it was but we started together and finished together and cycleman was there and I'd guess he averages 8mph, or so.
HTH, if not it might be worth pm'ing Bottlemasher.

Hi, I am thinking of turning up on the day, but not knowing the area at all i have a question? How far is it to the coast, or probably more importantly, how far is the ride going to be?? And additionally, i note the mention that the pace will not be racing - but how fast (average) is the ride going to be?

Cheers

The ride is still on.

For those people who are camping

There is a beer festival happening
on the Friday and Saturday evening at one of the local pubs.

Transport can be arranged

Hi Pd

I've had a look and we did book last year but the site isn't taking bookings 'til near the end of this month.
Arrive as you wish, personally I'll probably drive and I wouldn't be surprised if Bristol Baz doesn't as well; he did last year Big smile
I'll reply to your other mail as well.
All the best.

Hi Lee
There will be a few of us camping at martineau rd. It's a nice little site and only a cyclepath from proper coffee at Sainsbury's. Some are cycling there, some arriving by train and I'm driving.
Last year we were four, but hoping for more this year because we are promoting this as our April camp on our Cycle Camp and Tour forum.

Nearest campsite is
Martineau Lane
Norwich, Norwich, NR1 2HX

There is a 9:30am start at NR1 4JZ
which closest to the campsite and this ride
will link up at Rackheath

some more surprises this year
if people arrive early(Fri or Sat) an extra ride can be added
