VeloVision - A well produced, well published, glossy mag that covers just about anything that has pedals and wheels.  If you don't subscribe, you are missing out!

Recumbent and Tandem Rider - is an "informative and entertaining magazine for riders and enthusiasts at all ability levels." It usually available free from your local (US) recumbent shop or as a subscription for a nominal amount.  Well worth getting this one.

• Do a web-search for the name "Martin Hepperle". He has put huge loads of aerodynamic info on the Net.
• Journal of Fluid Mechanics (vol 363, pg 115-151) by Goldstein and Tuan treats the effects of riblets on drag reduction.   They are mfrs of disc springs. Their catalog (which I have at work, not at home) has all the equations needed to calc what you're looking for. They have a crude (my copy is about 2 years old) DOS program that can calc the behavior of custom (your design) or catalog springs. It's a little tedious to use but it works. Spring "groups" in series or parallel or any combination there of.
