Curborough
From the A38 north of Lichfield, turn off at the Fradley Park interchange - about a mile and a half north of Lichfield and two miles south of the A513 junction. Head generally west, with Fradley Park on your left, the Lucas factory on your right and past the Auction Centre, also on your left. You will see a kart track on the left - ignore it!! This is not the track you want. Instead , take the next turning on the left, and you will find the track entrance on the right almost immediately.
The track is a nice mixture of reasonable length straights and interesting corners, with the hairpin down at the bottom often being the venue for some unorthodox cornering lines. The S's can also cause upsets, especially on the first lap when people haven't quite realised how fast they're going, as Roy MacDonald can attest. Plus I'm reliably informed that the last remaining rough bit, down towards the hairpin, has now been resurfaced, which is good news for people with Conti GP's and bad news for dentists.

What's Happening?
A couple of half-hour-odd scratch races for the points, plus an all-in race of some variety in the afternoon. This tends to get run:
a. in the opposite direction, and
b. over a truncated circuit.
The inland waterways of Britain have many
wonderful canalside pubs, but The Swan, at Fradley Junction (the
nearest pub, about ten minutes ride away) is not one of them...
The Swan
- - stops serving food at 14:00
- - closes, IIRC, at 14:30
- - quite often gets your drinks orders wrong
So you might find it preferable to bring your own lunch :-) The Co-op in Lichfield is but a short drive away if you forget.
